The Business Brain

I have a brain that wants to consistently brainstorm. And I love it. I have soooo many ideas! And really good ideas!

I’ve really had to learn to tame my brain. To slow down so that I can pause and enjoy life.

And I have the best tip that allows me to do just this and I want to share it with you!

If you’re anything like me and you want to stop over thinking and live more in the moment, this will definitely help.

Write it down.

Whatever it is. Write it down.

Funny enough, the book I’m using to write my ideas down is called Ridiculously Good Ideas!

What I love about putting pen to paper is that it let’s the universe know our intentions. Writing things down can be a really powerful way to manifest our desires.  Especially if we write statements like, I AM…., and I HAVE.

But what I love even more is what it does for my family and my home.

The energy in our home is creative when I write.

The morning this idea came to me, my girls and I built a fort.

That wouldn’t have happened if I chose instead to type a note on my phone. You know what would’ve happened then? My girls would have asked for a TV show. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

We have to be the change we wish to see.

Meaning that we need to BE the example that we want to set. For our children, for our spouse, in our workplace…etc.

By keeping my technology down and pulling out a pad of paper instead, I can be my creative self, live more in the moment than ever and show my children good old fashioned fun.

And my girls are only young now. This September they’ll both be in school, and it’ll be here before I know it! Anyone with kids will tell you that the years fly by.

So some of my ideas are only ideas. And that’s okay! I’ve learned to be okay with that. The reality is they have years to come true.

My girls need me to be present right now and they are my number one priority.  And truly, there’s no place I’d rather be.

Wishing you more peace, balance, happiness, vibrant health and lasting love.
