Speak From Your Heart

I think sometimes we forget how brave it is to speak from our heart and that not everyone has the courage to put themselves out there.

I think sometimes we forget that living true to our heart means that sometimes we’ll say things that make us feel uncomfortable.

And I think that even though things can feel uncomfortable, it’s important to trust that life is happening exactly as it’s meant to.

This is my way of saying that I did something this week…something that put me outside of my comfort zone.

And truthfully you don’t need to know the details to relate. Am I right? You’ve been there.

Whether it’s a conversation with a friend, a boss, a potential love interest or someone we don’t really know…I’m sure you’ve said something in the past that you instantly regretted or wish that you could take back

Except right now I don’t feel regret. A dear friend was the one who reminded me that speaking from my heart took courage. And it was something palpable and needed to be said. It was like an elephant in the room for me. And the reality is, now that it has been said, I feel relief. I can move forward.

And so for that I feel grateful.

And I trust that whatever is meant for me will be.

As I trust the same for you.

I think speaking from our heart is living our truth. And that means saying the things that are on our mind, even when it’s a bit scary. i believe that when we’re vulnerable…that’s where the magic happens.

Experiences that take us outside of our comfort zone, are opportunities to grow. To face how we’re feeling, to go deeper to understanding ourselves….that’s a really good thing.

Speak from your heart. 💓
