Comfort And Joy

I was just reminded of a conversation I had last year around this time with two girlfriends in Toronto, who feel stress and anxiety when it comes to the holiday season.

And while I do believe everyone’s story is different, and I truly don’t know how unreasonable your family can be, I know that you are capable of finding the peace within, so that anything that’s happening on the exterior is manageable for you to navigate.

And I know this because you are here.

And you are investing time in you.

And reading something positive that resonates with your soul is where you gain insight and wisdom…and can give you peace. It’s comfort for your heart and joy for living.

Comfort and Joy can be found in many ways…have you been in to Indigo to get your super soft blanket for $25!? I bought soft pink this year and I’m in love…just add the yule log with Christmas music or a Christmas movie! (And perhaps people or pets to snuggle). Or treat yourself to a pre holiday pedicure…go for a walk in the snow…book a massage! Make yourself a hot chocolate every night for a week! Heck you can even outsource a portion or all of your baking needs! Last Christmas I ordered an organic chocolate fudge cake and an apple pie from a delightful baker in Burlington to make things a little easier on myself. It’s not cheating. It’s creating simplicity.

Do what brings you peace.

Do what helps you feel comfort and joy.

You deserve a holiday that is magical and not stressful.

Capeesh?

Wishing you more peace, balance, happiness, vibrant health and lasting love.
