12. Creating New Healthy Habits

Creating healthy habits can be as easy as making the decision to change. But the catch is, you have to want it and you have to be ready and most times this starts with being real and honest with yourself.  For me personally, and this is being completely vulnerable, I've had a really bad habit of indulging in treats. And I don't mean a few cookies. I mean once in the past 6 months I went for a drive and picked up a bag of Oreo cookies and finished the bag before going back home in less than 30 minutes. Disgusting right? It's funny. Some people that I've shared that story with have said "Good for you! You have to indulge sometimes!!" Or "As long as you don't eat that way all the time!"  But it doesn't feel good. So I've committed personally to changing my eating habits.
